Jersey City residents are eager to help each other, and not just in our welcoming community of Port Liberte. We all can support local vendors at the Jersey City Farmers’ Market, shop at locally owned businesses, and get involved in community events and organizations.
One of these community organizations is the Jersey City Soccer Association, which is operated entirely by volunteers. This season, there are over 600 players registered!
About the Jersey City Soccer Association
The Jersey City Soccer Association was founded in 1978 to promote youth soccer throughout Jersey City. The organization helps kids improve their social interaction, sportsmanship, physical health, and self-confidence, all while the players enjoy their favorite sport.
I’ve had the privilege of sponsoring one of the soccer teams along with other Jersey City businesses and organizations, such as Bistro Grove Square, Porto Leggero, and the JCPD East District Protectors. I have enjoyed supporting these young men and their families this season!
Enjoy an Authentic Community in Port Liberte
As I wrote in a previous blog post, this welcoming community of friends and neighbors has made Port Liberte an incredible place for me to live and work. If you want to live in a tightly knit community in Jersey City, let me introduce you to Port Liberte!
